"At 60, I have no chance of finding work again": when Intermarché sells off its employees

In April, Intermarché announced the closure of 28 stores it had acquired from Casino. This included the La Riche hypermarket, on the outskirts of Tours, and its 54 employees. On Wednesday, July 9, they gathered to protest the unsatisfactory severance conditions.

Silent, their backs turned, as a sign of "mourning their jobs" . This is the welcome given by the employees of the Intermarché Hypermarket in La Riche (Indre-et-Loire) to their management on Wednesday, July 9. Like 27 other Casinos taken over by Intermarché , the store in which these 54 employees worked has closed, only eighteen months after its acquisition .
